North Collin SUD Water Usage

North Texas Municipal Water District, which we receive our water supply from, has distributed communications to their customers that they have spoken with Oncor officials and they are not planning on cutting the power to NTMWD treatment plants. They will continue to supply their customers with treated potable water. We have means of keeping water in our system in case of power outages to supply North Collin customers. Due to power being restored to most if not all residences and water lines starting to thaw out, you may experience a water leak from broken pipes. Due to this happening, our water usage will continue to be higher than normal for this time of year. We will continue to monitor our system for broken water mains and make repairs as quickly as possible once they are discovered. Please conserve usage the best you can to allow the system to maintain service to our customers.
